Congrats to all involved in our bariatric program at Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, NY on receiving the designation of "Comprehensive Center Accreditation for Bariatric Surgery" by the MBSAQIP- a joint quality program of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.

From MVHS..."The MBSAQIP standards ensure that bariatric surgery patients receive a multidisciplinary program, not just a surgical procedure, which improves patient outcomes and long-term success. The accredited program offers preoperative and postoperative care designed specifically for their severely obese patients.
