A Fun Dress-Down Day for an Incredible Cause

posted by Admin User at 2017-03-07 13:49:00

The devoted staff at William A. Graber, MD, PC - Weight Loss Surgery, works hand in hand with a distinct mission of health and support for everyone, without any discrimination of color or community and whenever needed.  Our planet is a single big community and by helping each other at the time of need, we can make a big difference together.
As part of our ongoing “Jeans for Charity” initiative, we continue to have weekly donations on dress-down day at Dr. Graber's office, where we raise money for a very special cause. This past quarter, much to our delight, we have raised a total of $335 and found a very worthy cause to donate to -the recent victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti.  All monies went to the New Story Charity, which helps build safe homes and transform devastated areas into thriving communities.
The Hurricane Matthew hit Haiti on October 4, 2016 approximately 200,000 homes were severely damaged leaving millions of people homeless. People of Haiti are still suffering from the aftermaths of this hurricane.

New Story is performing some extraordinary work by transforming slums into safe and clean communities. Their purpose is "to build life-changing communities". Within 2 years, this organization has funded more than 750 homes in 7 different communities in various developing countries. Such an incredible task must be encouraged and replicated further.
We at Dr. Graber's office strongly believe in safe and healthy living for everyone, and highly appreciate the great work done by New Story's team. For that reason, we request all of you to participate in this commendable task and be a part of a great journey.

You can learn more about this great cause and method of donations from the website, that will help you unlock easy ways to spread happiness and relief.
